This AI Usage Policy explains how MarginHero, operated by MarginHero, may use artificial intelligence and automation in connection with its website, assessments, digital products, training, reports, support, and internal operations.

1. How MarginHero May Use AI

MarginHero may use AI-assisted tools to:

  • Draft or organize assessment summaries
  • Generate first-draft recommendations based on assessment responses
  • Improve templates, checklists, training content, emails, and support materials
  • Summarize customer questions or support requests
  • Create internal notes, product ideas, or workflow improvements
  • Assist with formatting, editing, quality checks, and content production

AI may help us work faster, but it does not replace human judgment, professional advice, or your responsibility to review materials before using them.

2. AI Is Not Professional Advice

AI-assisted output from MarginHero is not legal, financial, accounting, tax, human resources, employment, insurance, private security, workplace safety, or law enforcement advice.

Before relying on any AI-assisted output, you should review it carefully and consult qualified professionals when appropriate.

This is especially important before:

  • Changing employee policies
  • Investigating suspected theft or misconduct
  • Disciplining or terminating an employee
  • Contacting law enforcement
  • Handling customer disputes or chargebacks
  • Changing security, surveillance, cash handling, inventory, or refund practices
  • Making decisions that could affect legal rights, employment status, pay, access, eligibility, or safety

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all AI-assisted materials before use
  • Checking accuracy, completeness, tone, legality, and business fit
  • Removing incorrect or sensitive information
  • Confirming that policies and practices comply with applicable law
  • Training managers and employees appropriately
  • Making final business decisions

Do not treat AI-generated recommendations as final instructions.

4. Information You Should Not Submit

Do not submit sensitive or unnecessary information to MarginHero forms, support channels, or custom workflows unless specifically requested and appropriate.

Avoid submitting:

  • Social security numbers
  • Full payment card numbers
  • Medical information
  • Government identification numbers
  • Passwords or account credentials
  • Confidential employee files
  • Detailed allegations about identifiable individuals unless necessary for a custom service
  • Information you do not have permission to share

5. AI And Customer Data

MarginHero may process assessment responses, support messages, and customer-provided materials using AI-assisted tools where reasonably useful to provide or improve services.

We aim to limit data shared with AI providers to what is reasonably needed for the task. We may also remove or reduce identifying details when practical.

6. No Automated Consequential Decisions

MarginHero materials and AI-assisted outputs are designed for education, drafting, organization, and operational support.

MarginHero does not authorize users to use its AI-assisted outputs as the sole basis for consequential decisions about employees, applicants, customers, vendors, or other individuals.

Users should not use MarginHero outputs as the sole basis for decisions involving:

  • Hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, pay, scheduling, or workplace access
  • Credit, financing, insurance, housing, education, health care, or public benefits
  • Law enforcement reports or accusations
  • Any other decision that materially affects a person's rights, eligibility, access, or opportunities

7. Accuracy And Limitations

AI systems can produce inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, biased, or misleading content. AI may misunderstand context, overstate confidence, omit exceptions, or produce language that is not appropriate for your jurisdiction or business.

MarginHero does not guarantee that AI-assisted output is accurate, complete, lawful, current, unbiased, or suitable for your circumstances.

8. Human Review

Where AI is used in customer-facing assessments, reports, custom materials, or support, MarginHero may review, edit, approve, or reject AI-assisted drafts before delivery. However, human review does not turn the material into professional advice unless a separate written agreement states otherwise and the reviewer is qualified to provide that advice.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use MarginHero or its AI-assisted materials to:

  • Discriminate against protected classes
  • Retaliate against employees, customers, vendors, or witnesses
  • Conduct unlawful surveillance
  • Generate false accusations or deceptive records
  • Mislead customers, employees, law enforcement, insurers, courts, or regulators
  • Make automated decisions that require legal compliance processes you have not implemented
  • Violate privacy, employment, consumer protection, workplace safety, or anti-discrimination laws

10. Updates

AI tools and laws are changing quickly. MarginHero may update this AI Usage Policy from time to time by posting a new effective date.
